Sweet and Sour Slaw

Summer or winter, this cole slaw classic offers a brightly colored, tangy addition to any meal! Watch the video instructions on HATV!

Ingredients

Slaw:

  • 1 cabbage, finely chopped (for extra color, use 1/2 head green and 1/2 head purple cabbage)
  • 4 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 3 carrots, grated
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 apples, finely chopped

HINT: Use food processor for cabbage, celery, onion, and apples
 

Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup raw honey or agave nectar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice or unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1-2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp celery seed

Directions

  1. Blend lemon juice, honey or agave nectar, olive oil, celery, and salt in a blender until smooth.
  2. Place cabbage, celery, carrots, onions, and apple in a bowl and stir in dressing.
