Holiday Crock-Pot Dressing

Health Minister Melanie Bittinger sent this one from Butler, Ohio: "Hi Dr. Malkmus, My husband has always loved dressing, and so I re-vamped a SAD recipe to suit the way we eat now. It is a favorite around the holidays for everyone, and for my husband, it is a favorite anytime. We took this recipe to two support group meetings recently and everyone wanted the recipe. Layer the following ingredients in a crock-pot, starting with:

4 cups Ezekiel Break (cubed)

Then add 2 cups Onions (chopped)

Next add 2 cups Celery (chopped)

Then 1-cup fresh mushrooms (sliced)

And 1/4 cup Parsley Flakes

Finally, add 3 cups Veggie Broth

And top with 1/2 cup Flax Seed (ground)

Cook on high 45-minutes, then 4-6 hours on low OR cook on high for four hours. ENJOY!
