Chocolate Mint Chia Milk

Chia milk is loaded with calcium! Just 2 oz of chia seeds have more calcium than 2 cups of cow's milk — and it's much better absorbed into your body.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp chia seeds (soaked - see directions below)
- 1/3 cup walnut halves (soaked overnight, soak water discarded)
- 2-3 Tbsp maple syrup
- 4 Tbsp Hallelujah Acres Raw Carob Powder
- 4 tsp BarleyMax Mint
- 1/8 tsp unrefined sea salt
Directions
- Soak chia seeds in 3½ cups water overnight. Stir or shake a couple of times before you go to bed so seeds don’t clump together.
- The next morning, pour the chia/water mixture into a blender and add all other ingredients.
- Blend all ingredients together for approximately 1 minute.
- Set aside for a few minutes. Spoon off most of the foam that rises to the top.
- Store in the refrigerator as milk (tastes best and creamiest when chilled).
- Shake well before serving.
