Co-Author of Could It Be B12? An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses
Sally Pacholok, R.N., B.S.N, an emergency room nurse with 26 years of experience, received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to entering the field of nursing, she received an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science with magna cum laude honors. She was also an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (A-EMT), and worked as a paramedic prior to and during nursing school, and as a caretaker to the elderly in a nursing home. She has worked in health care for a total of 34 years, and has cared for thousands of patients. She is a Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider, an Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) Provider and a member of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).
In 1985, Pacholok diagnosed herself with vitamin B12 deficiency, after her doctors had failed to identify her condition. As a result, she is passionate about the need to educate the public about the dangerous consequences of this hidden and all-too-common disease.
In 2009, Pacholok and her co-author, Jeffrey J. Stuart, D.O. (a board-certified emergency medicine physician) started B12 Awareness, a website to educate the health-care community and the public to the dangers of B12 deficiency. B12 Awareness has declared September to be B12 Awareness Month and trying to get legislation passed to officially recognize B12 Awareness Month annually. They have appeared in two B12 documentaries (United Kingdom, United States) educating the public.
Visit B12 Awareness on the web at B12Awareness.org.
Pacholok is a passionate crusader in the cause of educating the public, health-care professionals and health-care policy leaders about vitamin B12 deficiency and treatment. Says Pacholok, “We cannot rest until this disorder gets the attention it deserves and we stop needless injury, suffering and poor outcomes. The only way to solve this epidemic is to educate others to what is going on behind closed doors. There is a simple solution: Education, Awareness, Advocacy, Responsibility and Prevention.”

Billy Wease, RPH
Compounding Pharmacist, Fellowship in Anti-Aging Regenerative Medicine
A pharmacist since 1990, the health of his clients has always been Billy’s foremost concern — but several years into his profession, he began to realize that restoring health could not be accomplished through traditional pharmacology. He knew there had to be a better way.
What ensued was a journey of revelation, unlearning and relearning the true causes and reversal of disease. He went back to school, first to learn about the concept of pharmaceutical compounding. Fueled by a keen interest in natural healing, he took the next step, ultimately earning a fellowship in anti-aging.
Today, Billy’s primary focus is not preparing medications for clients, but helping his clients to get off of them. As a pharmacist, he understands better than anyone both the deteriorating effects of drugs and rebuilding that can be achieved through customized supplementation and wellness innovations like alkaline water.
Billy owns currently owns and operates three pharmacies in North Carolina and South Carolina, focusing on supplementation and offering free alkaline water at each location.
Paul Malkmus
President of Hallelujah Acres
Paul witnessed the birth of The Hallelujah Diet as a teenager as his father (Rev. George Malkmus) developed the diet with his own family. As such, Paul knows better than anyone how to maximize its results.
Paul brought his leadership skills to Hallelujah Acres as President and CEO in November 1997 and has led its growth into the world's most recognized Christian health organization.
In addition to leading the company, Paul enjoys teaching with his wife Ann, helping to spread the message of the self-healing body. Combining humor, science and food, Ann Malkmus and Paul Malkmus (a.k.a. AM & PM) offer a dynamic, enjoyable, educational experience that will leave you informed, enlightened, and satisfied with delicious cuisine.
Ann Malkmus
Chief of Education
As the former Academic Dean of Morrison Institute of Technology, an engineering college in Morrison, IL, Ann loves to teach — and more than anything she loves to teach people about the self-healing body and The Hallelujah Diet!
Ann is also the author of the famously popular Where Do I Go From Here? class, and is now working with husband Paul to create numerous presentations, seminars, and classes which illustrate and demonstrate the ease of incorporating The Hallelujah Diet (and the science behind its success) into daily life.
Rev. George Malkmus, Lit. D
Founder of Hallelujah Acres
In 1976, Rev. Malkmus was a very successful pastor of a large church in upstate New York when he was told he had colon cancer - the same disease that took his mother, despite chemotherapy, radiation treatments and surgery.
Feeling like the "treatment" his mother received was more of a threat than a cure, Rev. Malkmus turned to an evangelist friend, Lester Roloff, who advised him not to go the medical route, but to simply change his diet to raw fruits and vegetables, and to drink lots of fresh vegetable juice. In 1977, after a year of living this new lifestyle, Rev. Malkmus' baseball-sized tumor had disappeared, as did every other physical problem he was experiencing. His body had been restored!
This gave Rev. Malkmus a new vision: to tell the world about this change, starting with the Christian community; having been a pastor for 20 years, he felt compelled to share this life-saving information.
Olin Idol, ND, CNC
Vice President of Hallelujah Acres
Olin Idol acquired an interest in health and nutrition over 30 years ago while serving in the military. At that time, he began using a multitude of vitamin and mineral supplements and distilled water while continuing to eat the Standard American Diet (SAD). After his discharge from the military in 1972, Olin attended college, where he graduated with a degree in religion with the intent of entering the ministry. Just prior to enrolling in seminary, a chain of events in his personal life seemed to close the door to a full-time pastoral ministry. This was not where God wanted him to go.
While taking advantage of various opportunities to preach and teach, Olin attended the very first Hallelujah Acres Health Minister Training program, and it was from this that he developed his own health ministry.
He began teaching others the essentials of the Hallelujah Diet & Lifestyle while continuing his personal studies in nutrition. Ultimately he earned his ND degree from Trinity College of Natural Health, and subsequently attained the Certified Nutritional Consultant (CNC) designation by the American Association of Nutritional Consultants.
Dr. Michael Donaldson
Hallelujah Acres Research Director
Dr. Michael Donaldson, Research Director at the Hallelujah Acres Foundation, is a chemical engineering graduate of prestigious Cornell University, the same school where Dr. T Colin Campbell (author of The China Study) is Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry.
His work consists of designing and coordinating epidemiologic and clinical intervention studies based on specific symptoms or diseases, and focuses on the results of The Hallelujah Diet.
As he and his family realized the value of changing their diet, he was faced with a dilemma. He was nearly finished with his doctorate and was about to enter the biotechnology industry to develop remedies for sufferers of heart disease, diabetes and other ailments — which are largely a product of overindulgence and dietary ignorance.
He was convinced by this time that biotechnology drugs were not the answer. He began the search to offer his expertise in the alternative nutrition field, which led him to Hallelujah Acres in 1997.
