Suzy Hoseus; Author of Healing Bipolar and Depression
Suzy Hoseus was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in the early 1980's. At that time, she was hospitalized and told there was no cure for her disorder. After being on medications for twenty years, she became a likely candidate for colon cancer. Today she is symptom free and has not had so much as an aspirin since 2000!
When she began her studies and practices of natural health, many were skeptical. Her mother said, "I won't believe you're past this (the bipolar) until five years has passed." May 2005 marked that milestone. Today, Suzy no longer suffers with insomnia, mood swings, hypoglycemia, or any other symptom associated with the disease.
After overcoming incredible odds, Suzy's new lease on life demonstrates that the responsibility for one's health translates to the ability to choose positive, life-giving responses.
Renewal, she says, is the outcome of applying truth — like that fact that no matter what your chronological age, the healing process speeds up as life-enhancing practices are implemented.
She emphasizes that increased vitality is derived from true energy sources: exercise, personal hygiene, pure water, rest and plenty of sleep, a proper attitude and outlook, sunshine, fresh air, and proper nutrition.
In order to attain whole health, Suzy teaches that we need to avoid stressors and learn how to skillfully manage life's daily challenges. Unremitting stress creates disease. As we increase true energy sources and decrease stress, we establish the environment both internally and externally for true healing.

ADD, ADHD, diabetes, cancer (and rising number of other dis-ease "labels") are more prevalent than ever-the evidence points to vaccinations as the cause. Rhonda Malkmus; Hallelujah Acres Co-Founder and Author of Recipes for Life
Rhonda Malkmus is married to Rev. George Malkmus and is co-founder of Hallelujah Acres. Rhonda is the creator of Hallelujah Acres' popular Women's Retreat, and she is the author of several books including Recipes for Life … From God's Garden and Hallelujah Holiday Recipes … From God's Garden. In addition, she teaches food preparation classes the Friday evening before the monthly God's Way to Ultimate Health Seminars at Hallelujah Acres.
Rhonda's journey to ultimate health began with a horrific car accident in 1981 on a rural road in Iowa. Though she appeared to be fine after the accident, pain soon became her constant companion; so much so that her doctor advised her to move to a milder climate (Tennessee) in order to manage her arthritis.
The first person she met in Tennessee was Rev. George Malkmus. George began to share with her that a changed diet and lifestyle would no doubt improve her life and health. Through Rhonda's journey to health, the friendship she and George shared blossomed into love. They married in 1992.
Today, Rhonda's health has been completely restored, and she can now do things she could only dream about before. She has lost more than 80 pounds, exercises daily, and is pain-free.
Paul Malkmus; Hallelujah Acres CEO, Host of HATV
Paul Malkmus is the CEO of Hallelujah Ares and the son of founder Rev. George Malkmus. Paul witnessed the birth of the Hallelujah Diet as a teenager when his father began to develop the diet with his own family. Today, Paul knows better than anyone how to maximize its results.
The Hallelujah Diet was not always his primary interest and passion. As Rev. Malkmus was spreading his message, Paul was developing a distinguished career in the Intelligence Office of the United States Air Force. Several years later, after attending one of his father's Saturday seminars, Paul was moved to tears by the impact The Hallelujah Diet was having on the lives of people across the nation. His destiny had been revealed.
In a highly unorthodox circumstance, the Air Force granted Paul's request to be relieved of his duties three years prior to retirement so that he could help his father expand Hallelujah Acres into a worldwide ministry. Paul brought his leadership skills to Hallelujah Acres as President and CEO in November 1997 and has led its growth into one of the world's most recognized Christian dietary ministries.
Paul also joins his wife Ann, Hallelujah Acres Chief of Marketing and Education, in spreading the message of the self-healing body. Combining humor, science and food, Paul and Ann offer a dynamic experience that leaves participants informed, enlightened and satisfied with educational sessions and delicious food preparation demonstrations. They are currently delivering the Hallelujah Acres message across the country and look forward to the release of their first co-authored book.
Ann Malkmus; Chief of Education, Host of HATV
Ann Malkmus is the Chief of Marketing and Education for Hallelujah Acres. She formerly served as the Academic Dean of Morrison Institute of Technology, an engineering college in Morrison, IL.
After healing herself of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) by changing her diet, she began sharing her journey and knowledge with others. As a result, Ann became a Hallelujah Acres Health Minister and subsequently brought her experience with both diet and academia to Hallelujah Acres in October 2006.
She has since delivered the Health Minister Training course with the passion of her personal testimony to more than 1,000 people from all over the world.
Ann is also the author of the famously popular Where Do I Go From Here? class, and is now working with husband Paul (Hallelujah Acres' CEO) to create numerous presentations, seminars and classes which demonstrate the ease of incorporating The Hallelujah Diet (and the science behind its success) into daily life.
Paul and Ann are a dynamic teaching team, collaborating their skills with humor, science and food to create an enjoyable, educational experience for those who want to experience The Hallelujah Diet to the fullest, and help others achieve the same. Their presentations speak to those who want to see and hear about this great program and taste the benefits as well. They are currently delivering their message across the country and are looking forward the release of their first co-authored book.
Rev. George Malkmus, Lit. D.; Founder of Hallelujah Acres, Author
In 1976, Rev. Malkmus was a very successful pastor of a large church in upstate New York when he was told he had colon cancer—the same disease that took his mother, despite chemotherapy radiation treatments, and surgery.
Feeling like the "treatment" his mother received was more of a threat than a cure, Rev. Malkmus turned to an evangelist friend, Lester Roloff, who advised him not to go the medical route, to change his diet to raw fruits and vegetables, and to drink lots of fresh vegetable juice. In 1977, just one year after living this new lifestyle, Rev. Malkmus' baseball-sized tumor had disappeared, as did every other physical problem he was experiencing.
This gave Rev. Malkmus a new vision: to tell the world about this change, starting with the Christian community. Most Christians shunned Rev. Malkmus' message, so he began to show that the body of modern medical science supported the wisdom of the original diet given to mankind by God in Genesis 1:29. Those who listened and changed their diet found their body's innate self-healing usually able to heal all physical sickness.
For nearly 30 years, Rev. Malkmus has been studying and researching diet and lifestyle from a Biblical perspective. He and wife Rhonda founded Hallelujah Acres in 1992 as a Christian health ministry to help alleviate the suffering they saw. The Shelby, NC-based ministry's goal is to help lead people away from the world's diet and back to God's original diet for mankind. People are listening.
Today, Rev. Malkmus' message has spread across the world through seminars, newsletters, books, CDs and DVDs. In addition, he has appeared on numerous radio and television shows, including The 700 Club, Praise the Lord, Fox News and all major TV news and countless radio programs. He has traveled to most states in the US and to places around the globe proclaiming both health and the Gospel.
Rev. Malkmus has published four books: Why Christians Get Sick, God's Way to Ultimate Health, A Message of Hope and Healing, and The Hallelujah Diet. His weekly email newsletter, The Hallelujah Health Tip, has almost 100,000 subscribers. Every day, Hallelujah Acres receives letters, emails, and calls from people expressing how these books and the diet have changed their lives.
Today, George and Rhonda Malkmus' original Hallelujah Diet concept has flourished to offer many different resources, services, and products for those who choose to follow God's way to optimal health.
Olin Idol, NC, CNC; Hallelujah Acres Vice President of Health
Olin Idol acquired an interest in health and nutrition more than 30 years ago while serving in the military. At that time, he began using a multitude of vitamin and mineral supplements and distilled water, yet continued to eat the standard American diet.
This regimen was maintained faithfully until the early 1990s when he read a book by Rev. George Malkmus titled Why Christians Get Sick. The impact of this book on his lifestyle and diet was tremendous: many of his supplements were tossed aside, he abandoned the standard American diet, and adopted The Hallelujah Diet.
In 1994, Olin attended the very first Hallelujah Acres Health Minister Training and later, earned his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from Trinity College of Natural Health. He subsequently attained the Certified Nutritional Consultant (CNC) designation by the American Association of Nutritional Consultants.
In late 1995, Olin joined the staff of Hallelujah Acres as Rev. Malkmus' assistant. He has found opportunities to minister to others on a daily basis as the ministry continues to experience growth and expansion. He handles written correspondence and phone calls daily as he seeks to help others apply The Hallelujah Diet in their personal lives.
Olin is the author of Pregnancy, Children, and The Hallelujah Diet and The Hallelujah Diet Refined: Maintaining Healthy Blood Sugar.
Featured Guests
Joanne Cash; Well-known Recording Artist and Author
Joanne Cash has countless tales to tell. But more than artistic accolades, she is driven by a deeper sense of eternal purpose, despite times of trial and seasons of straying.
While the close-knit Cash family stayed close to the Lord, the tragic death of brother Jack during a mill accident sent shock waves through everyone's systems. Even though Joanne was very young at the time and couldn't understand the magnitude of his passing, fears began creeping into her life, which became the initial catalyst for a period of wandering.
After entering into a bad marriage after high school, moving to Germany for three years and having a child in the process, the confused newlywed turned to drugs and alcohol to ease the pain. In time, the family grew to 3 children, but her personal pain and tumultuous family situation only worsened.
In 1970 she had a spiritual awakening that drew her back home to her family and to Jesus. She simultaneously found a musical calling while working at House of Cash, brother Johnny's famed recording studio and musical museum.
During that era, Joanne also met the new love of her life, Dr. Harry Yates. Together they began a full time music ministry that lasted for 15 years. They founded Nashville Cowboy Church, adjacent to the Opryland Hotel, where Joanne continues to sing every Sunday.
Her latest CD Gospel encompasses a variety of original and gospel/country covers, plus tidbits of the Cash family testimony, including several historic selections featuring Johnny's vocals, lyrics and/or narration.
