Olin Idol acquired an interest in health and nutrition over thirty years ago while serving in the military. At that time, he began using a multitude of vitamin and mineral supplements, and distilled water, while continuing to eat the standard American diet (SAD). This regimen was maintained faithfully until the early 1990s, when he read a book by Rev. George H. Malkmus titled Why Christians Get Sick. The impact of this book on his lifestyle and diet was tremendous: the dietary supplements were tossed aside, as was the SAD. He embraced the Hallelujah Diet & LifestyleSM. While he had no major physical problem himself, the little aches and pains associated with aging, life-long sinus problems, headaches, and stomach problems simply disappeared.
After his discharge from the military in 1972, Olin attended college, where he graduated with a degree in religion with the intent of entering the ministry. Just prior to enrolling in seminary, a chain of events in his personal life seemed to close the door to a full-time pastoral ministry. While taking advantage of various opportunities to preach and teach, Olin attended the Hallelujah Acres® Health MinisterSM Training program, and it was from this that he developed his own health ministry. He began teaching others the essentials of the Hallelujah Diet & LifestyleSM while continuing his personal studies in nutrition. Ultimately he earned his N.D. degree from Trinity College of Natural Health, and subsequently attained the Certified Nutritional Consultant (C.N.C.) designation by the American Association of Nutritional Consultants.
The testimonies Hallelujah Acres® was receiving (and continues to receive) daily were nothing short of miraculous as people began observing God’s natural laws concerning diet and lifestyle. They were finding such physical problems as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes simply going away. With all these results and testimonies, Olin realized that Rev. Malkmus would soon need some help, since his dream to reach the world with the message, You Don’t Have to Be SickSM, was becoming a reality.
In late 1995, Olin joined the staff of Hallelujah Acres® as Rev. Malkmus’ assistant. He has found the opportunities to minister to others on a daily basis to be tremendous as the ministry continues to experience growth and expansion. He handles written correspondence and phone calls daily as he seeks to help others as they apply the Hallelujah Diet & LifestyleSM in their personal lives.
Olin, along with the Hallelujah Acres® staff, is available to answer your questions, and to share the health message with you and others as more and more opportunities arise to do so.
